We stayed at THE park for a few nights thinking it’s a 5 star hotel and in close proximity of Connaught Place. Location is great but the hotel, service, and room is accurately a 3-star. The lobby is small and the security hovers over you until you go to your room. We landed a little early so didn’t have a place to go to until we got our luggage situated so figured we can wait in the lobby until check-in. However, it felt as if the staff did not prefer that. The room we checked into was smelly, the bathroom sink was leaking and sink was draining extremely slow. Numerous times, we would ask to change the sheets and mop the floors since it was dirty, but everyday upon returning to the room we would notice the sheets are not new nor is the floor mopped. Additionally, there were numerous hair strands on the pillows and the bed sheets. On our second night I checked out the spa for a massage. Although, there was NOTHING spa-like. It seemed like everything was unplugged and not functioning. I requested for bottled water and I was told there is no water. What 5-star hotel doesn’t have bottled water? there was no calming music or staff to be seen at the “spa” besides the one person. The spa person suggested I soak my feet in some sea salt since I had swollen feet and that he would get someone to send a bucket. One would expect since it’s a 5-star hotel it’s not going to be an old-school odorous plastic bucket that people put in their shower to shower with. AGAIN, this is a THREE star hotel and the whole time we wondered how this place is a 5-star hotel and if it is, is this what one should expect across the country in India. Our concern was put to rest at check out, when the receptionist insisted on seeing my husband’s phone and asked if he had google. Another receptionist grabbed his phone on the counter and started typing a review on trip advisor. We didn’t see this until the phone was returned in a minute. We quickly checked out and were in disbelief. It all made sense why the 5-star rating on goggle and trip advisor. Furthermore, the receptionist handed a paper with names to jot down on for additional reviews. STAY ANYWHERE but HERE! It’s not a 5-star hotel, we stayed at other 4 and 5 star hotels in the area and such a different experience! It’s a FAKE 5-star hotel! Only thing good here is their breakfast!!! Also, if you request for bottled water from the room they charge you 13x more.

My stay at this purported 5-star hotel was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Despite its lofty rating, the service barely reached a 3-star standard. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, and even the basic amenities one would expect from a 5-star establishment were sorely lacking. When I requested to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout, I was met with unnecessary hassle and inconvenience from multiple staff members. The spa was dismal, devoid of any relaxing ambiance, and felt more like a neglected corner than a luxury amenity. To top it off, the hotel had the audacity to charge exorbitant prices for bottled water, a basic necessity that should be provided in any decent accommodation. But the pinnacle of unprofessionalism was reached at checkout, when the reception staff not only failed to address my concerns but also attempted to manipulate my feedback by snatching my phone and drafting a TripAdvisor review without my consent. This establishment's shady practices and lackluster service are a stark contrast to its supposed 5-star status. Save yourself the disappointment and seek accommodations elsewhere, where your money will be better spent on a truly enjoyable experience.

Excellent central location. Very close to Connaught Place and walking distance for many good restaurants, shopping and monuments to visit. Metro connectivity. Special mention of Mr. Virendra and his entire team who took excellent care of us at the breakfast buffet amazing service with a pleasing personality and broad smile. Delicious food with a lot of options. Rooms and bathroom could be upgraded with modern furniture and fixtures. All in all a decent place to stay and amazing variety of food at the buffet.

I had a nice experience at the Park Hotel New Delhi. The staff were very helpful, friendly and respectful. The front desk staff, Hanny, Elishbah, Santoshi and others, whose names I can't remember, were very helpful. The rooms definitely need an upgrade but overall, it was a good experience.
